Arthur D. Little launches new ‘AFAQ’ Program to foster new generation of Saudi consultants

Arthur D. Little (ADL), a leading management consultancy firm with the longest-standing presence in the Middle East region, has announced the launch of AFAQ, a new 12-month program that will prepare upcoming Saudi talent for careers in the consulting industry. With personal growth deeply rooted in the company’s culture and the skills, intelligence, and creativity of people long considered key organizational assets, these enduring values will be at the forefront of Arthur D. Little’s latest initiative. A new generation of consultants will be guided, developed, and ultimately integrated into the professional landscape, with an engaging and interactive learning agenda facilitating this priority.

Ryan Alnesayan, Principal at Arthur D. Little Middle East, said: “As the Kingdom invests in future leaders and demand from clients increases in the world of consulting, so does the need for influxes of new talent. It’s true that success in this area is essential rather than aspirational, yet the nature of these efforts could not be further from being stressful or strenuous. Saudi Arabia today is a market full of growth opportunities for innovative minds and up-and-coming professionals. And at Arthur D. Little, we are excited about the AFAQ program because it represents an advantageous new avenue for us to assist future consults en route to realizing their potential and making invaluable long-term contributions. We see that the national talent pool is certainly promising with the motivation and capabilities required to climb career ladders, something that will be harnessed through AFAQ.”

Inspired by a commitment for advancing consulting capabilities, fostering breakthrough innovation thinking, adopting future-oriented leading skills, and questing for change and realization of the national vision, AFAQ will realize each of these objectives, positioning participants to explore growth opportunities in today’s evolving marketplace, drive innovation and change, and formulate their own success stories.

Over the program’s duration, aspiring consultants will interact with and work alongside Arthur D. Little teams. Research, analysis, knowledge structure, presentation preparation, and project work will all be primary focus areas, collectively offering comprehensive exposure to critical consulting skills through formal development-focused training. Furthermore, participants will also be granted chances to work directly with Arthur D. Little clients and help them discover the most prudent solutions to complex but interesting problems.
