Featuring Exclusive Green Shade from the World’s First Co-Built Automotive Digital Color Lab
The digital color lab co-built by Chery and PPG, the world’s leading automotive coatings manufacturer, was officially unveiled at Chery’s Testing and Technology Center on May 27th, 2023. Aside from being one of Chery’s 300 “Yaoguang laboratories” dedicated to cutting-edge technology, it is also the first digital car color lab in the world developed jointly between a car manufacturer and an automotive coating producer, which provides the world’s most advanced capabilities for developing automotive coating colors and will give global users of “Technology Chery” the most unique color aesthetic experience.” The Chery-PPG digital color lab covers many activities such as research and analysis of global popular color trends, exterior color design of body and parts, digital color analysis of vehicle renderings, physical swatch development, color simulation and matching, R&D of advanced color technologies, development of new materials and processes for coating, new color data extraction, verification of paint process performance, subjective and objective assessment and benchmarking acceptance, and other technical aspects.
The ARRIZO 8 will be the first Chinese-branded B-Class sedan to be launched in Saudi Arabia. This model will be launched in an exclusive metallic green for the Saudi market, inspired by the Saudi Arabia flag, developed by Chery Digital Color Lab. The color will appear lighter in sunlight, changing like an aurora, making ARRIZO 8 more recognizable. With its body length of 4780 mm and its wheelbase of 2790 mm, the ARRIZO 8 demonstrates its confidence through its extra-long body size. The ARRIZO 8 unmistakably exudes the essence of a flagship product.
ARRIZO 8 embodies the “Art in Motion” design language, displaying the charm of wave-like flowing light and shadow design. It features popular design elements such as a wave-like streamline, a contrast-colored suspended roof, dynamic meteor wheels, and a sports rear wing.
