under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, concluded the first phase of “Saada 2026” initiative, which was launched during the holy month of Ramadan. This phase aimed to strengthen social solidarity and support underprivileged families, with food parcels distributed to a large number of households, helping to ease living burdens during the blessed month.
The Information City, along with its strategic partners MTN and Ardee, continued their efforts to support the “ Saada 2026” initiative, which seeks to enhance community development through educational, health, and preventive aspects. This was carried out in cooperation with several government entities and private sector institutions, achieving wide-ranging positive results and establishing constructive partnerships with leading organizations in the country.
The second phase of the initiative, however, stood out through the pivotal role of Civil Defense, which led community awareness efforts and promoted a culture of public safety. This included a series of awareness programs, training courses, practical guidelines, and specialized advice delivered by Civil Defense officers, specialists, and technicians. They provided hands-on explanations to school students on the latest methods and technologies used in firefighting, prevention strategies, proper handling of household incidents, and rapid response techniques to ensure the safety of individuals and property. Additionally, awareness presentations and field training sessions were conducted to instill a culture of safety and responsibility in the younger generation.
These constructive efforts were part of a joint collaboration between the Information City and Civil Defense, supported by several governmental and semi-governmental entities, along with the participation of major companies—foremost among them Ardee Real Estate Development Company—highlighting the importance of integration among various stakeholders in promoting a culture of safety within the community.
In this regard, the CEO of Ardee Real Estate Development in the UAE said: “At Ardee, we place people first, and their well-being and safety are among our top priorities. We focus on building and protecting communities before constructing buildings. Our continued support for the ‘Saada’ initiative reflects our responsibility, belief, and commitment to all aspects of a safe and stable life. We are proud to work side by side with the Information City, in cooperation with Civil Defense and Dubai Police, which highlights the importance of integration among various entities to enhance community awareness and support a comprehensive and sustainable urban environment.”
The Information City affirmed that the “Saada 2026” initiative continues to achieve its humanitarian and awareness goals, with plans to expand its scope in the coming phases to include broader segments of society. It has received praise from senior officials in the country, as well as recognition from official institutions, charitable organizations, and local and international companies supporting this pioneering community initiative, including: MTN, ARDEE DEVELOPMENT, OLA ENERGY, DUBAI DUTYFREE, ARISTA PROPERTIES, DNV, Al HANDAL GROUP, COLGATE-PALMOLIVE
