The Public Relations and Communications Association Appoints Ibrahim Al-Mutawa to its MENA Regional Board
The Public Relations and Communications Association Middle East & North Africa (PRCA MENA) announced appointing Ibrahim Al-Mutawa, the co-founder and managing director of Riyadh-based consultancy agency Jummar PR, as a member of its MENA Regional Board, within a restructuring process of the Board as a pivotal move aimed at fortifying strategic direction and industry representation in the MENA region.
Working in the heart of the journalism and public relations industries for more than two decades, Al-Mutawa has led Jummar since 2021 and has supervised the expansion of the company’s portfolio to include prominent clients from sectors including aviation, finance, real estate, media, technology, and education.
Before joining Jummar, Al Mutawa had a three-year stint with BCW, leading Saudi operations as vice president.
Throughout his journalism career, Al-Mutawa worked with several leading business news titles. He was a treasury correspondent for Reuters’ Riyadh bureau and earlier a KSA correspondent for Forbes Arabia.
Al-Mutawa is a member of the Strategic Council of the Middle East Public Relations Association (MEPRA).
In 2023, The PR Week magazine selected Ibrahim Al Mutawa as one of the most influential professionals in public relations and communication in the Middle East.
The PRCA MENA Regional Board serves as the guiding force behind PRCA MENA’s initiatives, ensuring alignment with industry standards and fostering excellence in the field of public relations and communications.
“The restructured board brings together a diverse ensemble of esteemed industry leaders, poised to infuse their collective expertise and insights to propel the organisation to new heights,” PRCA said in a statement.
These professionals bring a rich tapestry of experiences and expertise to their roles, representing a diverse array of sectors and perspectives within the communications industry, the statement concluded.
